About Us

VÚTCH – CHEMITEX commenced its operations as a textile testing, certification, and R&D institute in 1970, establishing itself as the institute with the broadest array of accredited textile tests in the country. Over time, the scope of testing expanded to encompass materials beyond textiles, including plastic, leather, paper, and cosmetics. VÚTCH – CHEMITEX further enhanced its reputation by becoming an associated member of OekoTex ®, certifying products for the globally reputable Standard 100, ensuring the safety of textiles. Additionally, the company became a National member of GINETEX, an international association for textile care labeling.

On September 1st, 2023, a segment of the company was spun off to create a new entity, VUTCH, focusing on testing, certification, and R&D ventures, which notably included OekoTex ® certification. While VÚTCH – CHEMITEX retains its dedication to servicing the local market with GINETEX licensing, it also continues its R&D pursuits and consultancy services.
